iNetAdviser 4.0 is released.

A new version of iNetAdviser 4.0 was released on the 29 th of February. All the users that have previously worked with trial version of iNetAdviser and now have their trial license expired can download a new version of iNetAdviser here: www.offliner.com/download/inetadviser.exe and work with it for 30 days.

New version features extended abilities for handling images (pictures, digital photos, clipart, etc.), and also improved banner blocking engine.

Handling images

Previous version featured the ability to gather pictures from visited sites. A fresh, 4.0 version, has made a great forward step and now iNetAdviser is able to:

• Download images from the specified sites. Download options can be tuned easily. You can set the level of target web pages nesting; you can limit the range of target web pages by specifying a domain name, image dimensions, image size and so on.
• View and import images from Hard Drive into the database. The ability to import images from other data carriers (CD) is also supported.
• Search images in the Web using multiple search engines and import them into database. Current version supports 7 image-searching web engines.
• Search images in the database with ease. Saved images can be bounded to rubrics, rated; also you can add comments to any image. You can find any image in the database immediately using extended search. Multiple images can be grouped into various lists. Besides you can share your images with friends using ability of importing/exporting.
• Erase duplicate images from the database even if these images have different names. You can call this function at any time, but also you can just turn on the option to avoid importing duplicate files into database.

New Ad blocking features

In addition to the existing possibilities of blocking ads (by URL-masks included into black list, blocking images from second domains), new version of iNetAdviser has following fresh features:

• The ability to block banners, which have specific dimensions (468x60, 88x31, etc). To provide more flexible options for this feature, a user can set a range for dimensions that would allow blocking the banners whose dimensions differ a bit from standards or create a new dimension filter.
• Flexible ad blocking options. In ad blocker options you can set an option to shrink the area previously occupied by blocked banner. By shrinking the page iNetAdviser can represent the page in a more compact view. Note, you'll see only the useful information. If you want to see the page with it's original design, but without banners, you can set an option to replace blocked banners by an empty frame with AD letters.
• Auto update of ad blocker list.
• Ability to manage ad blocker list. A user can send a message about non-blocked banners to our on-line service. This ability is accessible from the context menu of MS IE, called in by right click. Once the message is handled, the URL of Ads generator (or its mask) is added to ads blocker “black” list, which is accessible through our server. Ads blocker “black” list would be regularly checked for urgency, and update automatically if needed.
